About Tashia
Candidate for Harris County MUD District 89 Board of Directors I'm running for the MUD 89 Board because our community deserves a voice that listens, leads with transparency, and holds itself accountable. With 27+ years as an educator, administrator, and business owner, I've managed budgets, teams, and daily operations — and learned what real accountability looks like. I hold a B.S. from Texas Southern University and an M.Ed. from Grand Canyon University. If elected, I'll carefully review spending, ask the hard questions, and advocate for responsible decisions on water, wastewater, drainage, and infrastructure — because your tax dollars deserve real oversight.

Improve Water Infrastructure — Focus on reliable water and wastewater services and support responsible planning and maintenance of the district’s infrastructure.
Protect Our Tax Dollars — Support responsible spending, careful budgeting, and transparency so residents can understand how district funds are being used.
